The materials studied as part of a research collaboration showed very good liquid-repellent properties, as required to shield infectious droplets. The contact angle method, which was the focus of the study, proved to be valid and can potentially be used as an easily accessible method for testing medical protective clothing. In addition to the measuring equipment manufacturer Krüss, the study involved Dastex Reinraumzubehör (engl. @jcutbirth Joe Cutbirth (BJ, University of Texas at Austin, 99) is assistant professor at the Moody College of Communication, where his work involves leadership and communication in news organizations. This year he piloted a course based on research by a working group at Moody College that is developing an open source curriculum for effective ethical leadership inside news organzations. Cutbirth is a former editor-in-chief of the Texas Observer and political writer for the Fort Worth Start-Telegram. He’s also worked as a statewide communication director in two Texas governor s races and one presidential campaign. Cutbirth has held faculty appointments at the Columbia School of Journalism, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Virginia. He earned his doctorate at Columbia University, his master s at Georgetown University, and most importantly his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas.
